[TW] Repeated rape and sexual assault of 11yo girl still divides town

Despite DNA evidence, girl’s tearful testimony, CONFESSIONS of most of the attackers AND VIDEO FOOTAGE of one of the incidents, half the town believe the girl was at least in part to blame or lying about it, based on what she wore and her make up and parental supervision.

Gentle readers - if you have ever been blamed for your rape/molestation or blamed yourself, please take this into account. Even an 11 year old with confessions and proof still has some people telling her she was responsible. SOMEone will always find a reason to say it was your fault. Whether or not you were blamed has nothing to do with whether or not it was actually your fault.

And this is what I think of whenever I hear libertarians or anarchists talk about why we need smaller government. If this is how it plays out when raping little girls is illegal, what would it look like if there were no laws to protect women or children?
